Who am I ?

I am luthier trained at Mittenwald school. And I’m also bow maker. My professional career has been enriched by all the facets of the profession: instrument and bow making, restoration, sound adjustments, trade and expertise.

Bows

I have made close to one thousand bows today and each time it’s a real pleasure making a new one. The very first one, it was in 1984 in Los Angeles. My pernambuco wood comes from a legally sourced supply…

Instruments

Founded in 1956 by Jacques Camurat (1927-2016), I ran the workshop on Rue de Rome in Paris for 15 years with my brother Bernard, a luthier in Vico (Corsica), where many luthiers and bow makers also contributed to its development.
